Here, you will find information about our June 2010 trip to Saraguro, Ecuador, where we teamed up with students from Inka Samana school to increase understanding of and appreciation for each other's culture.

May 7: Our music and dessert fundraiser earned $1900! Thank you to all who attended and/or donated!!! What a wonderful show of support from Seeley Lake.
Feb 2: Pizza sales went very well: we made about $2200! Zach Blackburn sold the most pizzas by far- great job, Zach! The kids and parents made all 200 pizzas and delivered them in one afternoon! Thank you to Tim and Connie for volunteering to purchase all the ingredients and let us use the restaurant's kitchen!
Jan 18: The kids are taking orders for chocolate bars and homemade pizzas. We're hoping to sell 200 pizzas. This would provide a welcome boost to our fundraising efforts, which have lagged for the past month.
Would you like a pizza delivered before the Superbowl? Call the high school at 677-2224.
Nov 5: Andrew Chritton, the Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Ecuador, contacted us and offered his services. He and his parents happen to own houses in Seeley!
I've talked with Maria at the Inka Samana school, and our visit there will likely be from June 16-21; this coincides with the Inti Raymi festival there, which will surely enrich our experience. Our tentative travel dates, then, are June 9-23. Flathead Travel will give me an airfare quote tomorrow.
Oct 24: We have concessions at the football game... so far, Zach, Kelsey, and Michele Holmes have committed- thank them and help them out!
Oct 10: Locke, Cascade, Tucker and Jacob braved the Hellgate wind and parked cars for the Griz Homecoming game... The effort garnered $510! Thank you to ELM Locating for offering their parking lot to us!
Oct 4 Book Sale: Thanks to our dedicated students and parents, the group raised $2200 for the trip and at least $500 for the Linda Duncan Memorial Scholarship (Read more about this here and check out our "Evolution of the Trip" link below)! Thank you, Seeley Lake!
